Stuart Reed, Partner, Miami Beach Division
The Miami Beach division
of Legal & Compliance, LLC is located on Lincoln Road in the center
of the world renowned Art Deco district.
Stuart Reed, a second generation Miami attorney, heads our Miami Beach
division. His father, Allen Reed, was a prominent commercial litigator
in Miami for more than 30 years.
Stuart Reed is a dedicated community activist who is deeply committed
to his local community as well as his law practice. He has served on
a number of community service boards, as chairman of the Sierra Club's
Miami Group and the City of Miami Beach's Marine Authority. He initiated
Miami Beach's Indian Creek Greenway project, consisting of plans for
a 2.5 mile waterfront recreation trail in the heart of Miami Beach.
Laura Anthony, the founder
of Legal & Compliance, LLC, has known Stuart Reed since 1990, when
they both were law students in Tallahassee at the Florida State University
College of Law. They both worked at the same law firm near the Florida
State Capitol building, where they gained valuable experience in commercial,
legislative, administrative, and land use law cases.

Stuart Reed received his
Juris Doctorate from Florida State University in 1992 and his Bachelor
of Arts from the University of Virginia in 1988, majoring in environmental
sciences. He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1992.
Stuart Reed's areas of legal practice include civil litigation, business
law, family law, immigration, land use and environmental law, estates
and mediation.
