OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB)

Quotation system developed for penny stocks and other thinly traded securities. The system lists domestic and foreign equity securities (including registered ADRs) that have at least one market maker, are not listed on NASDAQ or a national securities exchange, and are not listed on a regional exchange and eligible for consolidated tape reporting. To be eligible for listing, foreign equity securities must be fully registered with the SEC and domestic securities must be providing current financial information to the SEC.
